Gemblary Estate – Arabica – Washed

The coffee cherries are selectively hand-picked by trained and skilled labours, making sure only ripe cherries are picked. They are then screened twice to ensure the standard of the cherries and the floats are completely skimmed off. Later, these coffees are mechanically pulped and washed.

The fermentation and drying process for each batch is carried out in a controlled environment where constant and close attention is paid to key variables such as pH, Brix value, Humidity and Temperature. Then coffees undergo series of Shade and Open drying on raised beds.

Cradled in lush green environment of Shevaroy Hills, In Gemblary Estate specialises in Arabica coffees, cultivated with our intense care, dedication and hard work towards growing only the best coffee’s. Our Coffees are grown under natural shades of Jack fruit, Silver oak, Mandarin oranges and various other country trees, which makes it a special as “Shade Grown Coffees”. Selective hand-picking methods and processing methods give our coffees its unique enrich flavours. “Quality matters a lot to us. We take utmost care to ensure the sustainability of environment by conservation of Trees, Water resources and Wild life. Since 1977, Our family is taking care of this estate and now we are the Fourth-generation people working on it.

We at Gemblary take intense care to keep the plants healthy and to ensure the quality and productivity of the beans. At the time of harvest, the coffee cherries are selectively hand-picked with trained and skilled labours, they are screened twice to ensure the standard of cherry. At the time of post-harvest, processing is done keeping in mind the quality as the at-most priority. The key variables such as pH, Brix value, Humidity, Temperature are paid closest attention to produce wonderful flavoured coffees.
