Sophisticated biochemistry aside, what is so special about anaerobic fermented coffees? They  invariably give us precise flavour profiles that are immediately identifiable by both aroma and taste.

This lot from Gowri Estate was produced by selectively harvesting cherries at a time when they were known to give maximum sweetness. They were rinsed with fresh spring water, further sorted by  hand, rinsed again and then put aside to ferment anaerobically (in an environment of reduced  oxygen) for 24 hours. They were then slow-dried on raised beds for 21 days allowing the beans to  retain all of their potential sweetness. This coffee is an explosion of fruit flavors and gives notes of  mango, guava and cashew.

With special pockets of untouched native jungles within the plantation, Gowri Estate is a paradise  for local wildlife and exotic birds enjoying the crisp cool air and abundant water on offer. An evening  walk through this estate will have you awestruck with the magical sunsets painting the horizon in  beautiful hues of pink, orange and purple. Gowri Estate has warm cozy picturesque cottages,  campsites and amazing trails to keep you occupied when you visit the plantation. A hike up the  sunset trail is highly recommended and it’s not uncommon to run into a herd of the magnificent  Indian Bison and Wild Boar around the corner.

Coffees from Gowri Estate are shade-grown in rich soil amongst jackfruit trees, wild figs, oranges and  native jungle trees enabling them to exhibit exotic flavour notes and hold their unique identity.

Shipping Policy


  • We roast two days a week (typically Mondays and Thursdays). Orders roasted on Monday are shipped out on Tuesday and orders roasted on Thursday are shipped out on Friday.
  • You can expect orders to reach you any time between 2 – 7 days after the day it was shipped depending on your location.
  • Delays can be expected on rare occasions in case of unforeseen issues experienced by our third-party courier partners. In case of these unexpected delays, you can write to us (coffee@naivo.in) and we will resolve the issue.

Refund Policy

Returns and Refunds

  • Our founding philosophy is “to offer you the coffees that we find irresistible.” However, if you were not satisfied with our coffee and would like a refund, please write to us (coffee@naivo.in) within 14 days of your order being shipped with the below details,
  1. Your Full Name and Phone Number
  2. Date of Purchase
  3. Items you want refunded
  4. Reason for Return
  • We will revert to you within two working days of receiving your refund request.
  • On approval of refund request, all products (whether coffee or equipment) should be returned to us before the refund is processed. Equipment should be returned to our facilities in new and unused condition.
  • Refunds will be initiated within two days of approval. The amount of time it takes before the money is credited back to the customer’s account depends on the clearing cycle of the customer’s bank.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy


  • Cancellations on coffee orders will be considered if the request is made within 24 hours of placing the order or before the order has been roasted, whichever comes first.
