Project Palani 80+ is a concept to nurture coffees grown by the small and medium sized farmers and process the fruit to achieve a consistent cup quality to be accepted as a Specialty coffee as per the SCA protocol. The project stands for its missionary zeal to achieve the highest cup score using the Indian Arabica varietal through practical and scientific processing with minimum mechanised intervention and to encourage maximum job opportunity to the coffee community to achieve it.
Project Palani 80+ coffees are grown in the Pulney’s as par regional nomenclature of Coffee Board of India which is geographically located in Tamilnadu and more specifically the Eastern Spurs of Western Ghats Project Sankalp 90+ Indian coffee is a dedicated chapter within the original project named Waribok_Daribok (named after two small villages in Garo Hills of Meghalaya) to strive for minimum 85+ cup score with a target to reach the coveted 90+ cup score coffee from India on a regular basis and to give an opportunity to the Indian Coffee Fraternity to roast & brew it…
