Nestled in the beautiful slopes of the Sahyadri ranges in Chikmagalur, you’ll find Mr. Ashok Kuriyan, and his son Rohan, the fourth and the fifth generation of the Balanoor Plantation, making sure that each lot of coffee that is sent out, is as close to perfect as it can be. Despite producing some of the finest speciality coffee our country has to offer, they are always experimenting with techniques to make their coffees even better.
For this nano lot, they took only the ripest and juiciest of their Kents’ cherries, fermented them anaerobically for 24 hours, and then slow dried them over 27 days, which makes this coffee stand out from other dry processed coffees.The coffee has notes of sweet dates, plum, and a rich dark chocolate finish, which feels a lot like warm fuzzy hug from your favourite person!
