The MS Estate is spread over 1000 acres, but this nano-lot comes from just 400 plants of the Red Bourbon variety that were planted in 2015. Half a bag serendipitously found its way to us last year. This year, Rohan was able to give us a bit more of one of our favourite washed coffees. We have a little over half a bag but this time this gorgeous coffee has gotten better!
Roasted to the lighter side of a medium roast, it has a crisp, sweet acidity and citrus notes of orange juice, a delicate mouthfeel and lingering taste of sweetened cherries. This coffee really shines through as a filter in a pour over or an Aeropress
